OUR Story
Tasteful Station was created in the Spring of 2025 by Nicole Bower and Arthur Hollinger. At Tasteful Station, your food is prepared by chef, Arthur Hollinger who is self-taught. When Arthur does not know how to cook something, he researches how to do it on YouTube. “The kitchen is like a playground for me. I get to mess around and try new things.” Hollinger grew up in the southwest suburbs of Chicago and what brought him to Vermont was hockey at Castleton State College. Since then, he has settled in Rutland, Vermont. Nicole Bower is not new to the restaurant industry. She owns, The Cluckin Café & Cones Point Country Store, The Cluckin’ in Pittsford, Vermont and The Rollin’ Rooster Food Trucks. She is Poultney native and a foodie. Our menu changes weekly and is based on Arthur’s creativity. Dining at Tasteful Station is like stepping back in time to the 1920’s. Our building is a former train station built in 1917.
